Kiran Das

Kiran brings more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare. He began his career in frontline sales, meeting doctors and patients every day. He went on to lead sales, marketing, international business and corporate strategy across Indian and multinational companies. Along the way, he has built strong teams, forged partnerships across many countries, and grown businesses with a focus on lasting results rather than quick wins.

His close work with clinical nutritionists and registered dietitians over the years has shown him a recurring gap. Nutrition is often missing from the care of people facing serious illness, and many patients are unaware that specialised help exists. Kiran is firmly committed to evidence-based care, while recognising that a person’s relationship with food is deeply personal. He believes recovery is best supported by culturally familiar food that still meets the goals set by the patient’s doctors.

As Non-Executive Chairman, Kiran will guide NutriClinics’ strategy, governance and partnerships, working alongside the founding team as the organisation grows. His experience will help NutriClinics bring qualified clinical nutrition professionals closer to the patients who need them. So will the relationships he has built with nutrition experts across India and around the world.

Welcoming Kiran, Ardhendu Shekhar, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, said: “Kiran has spent his career close to doctors and patients, and he understands where care breaks down in practice. That understanding is exactly what we need as we build a platform that keeps patients connected to their nutritionist beyond a single consultation. His guidance on strategy and governance will help us grow with discipline, and we are glad to have him with us.”

Deepthi Harkar, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, added: “Kiran shares our belief that clinical nutrition should be evidence-based and deeply respectful of the person behind every plan. His respect for the work of dietitians, and his conviction that recovery should be supported with familiar, culturally rooted food, reflect the values at the heart of NutriClinics. We warmly welcome him to the Board and look forward to learning from his experience.”

Seena Senan, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, added: “We are delighted to welcome Kiran to the NutriClinics Board. His extensive experience in healthcare, strategic leadership, and building successful businesses brings invaluable perspective to our organisation. As we work towards making specialised clinical nutrition more accessible to those who need it, his insights and industry relationships will be instrumental in strengthening our partnerships, expanding our reach, and guiding our long-term growth. We look forward to working closely with him as we take NutriClinics into its next phase of development.”

The NutriClinics team warmly welcomes Kiran and looks forward to the journey ahead together.
