AICNU 2026

— NutriClinics, a clinical nutrition telehealth platform, formally unveiled its platform on 21 August 2026 at the Apollo International Clinical Nutrition Update (AICNU) 2026 in Guwahati, presenting it to an audience of more than 600 nutritionists and health professionals. In the weeks following the announcement, around 120 nutritionists have submitted expressions of interest to practise on the platform.

The launch marks the start of NutriClinics’ public journey in India. Patient appointment booking opened on 4 September 2026, allowing people to find a verified nutrition professional, book a consultation, and meet them online, without needing to visit a clinic.

A platform built around the practitioner

NutriClinics is designed as a fully virtual practice environment. Patients book appointments, pay securely, and attend video consultations from wherever they are. Nutritionists and dietitians get their own dashboard to manage appointments, patient records, and follow-ups in one place, in line with the platform’s promise to practitioners:
Your Expertise. Your Practice. Your Place.

Every practitioner goes through a verification process before appearing in patient search. Interested nutritionists complete a demo, have their credentials reviewed, and set up their availability calendar before they can be booked.

“Patients deserve to know that the person guiding their nutrition is qualified, accountable, and practising to a clear clinical standard. That’s why every nutritionist on our platform is verified before a single patient can book them. The response at AICNU tells us that India’s nutrition professionals are ready for a platform that respects their expertise and holds care to evidence-based standards. Our job is to make sure that trust is earned on both sides.”

Strong interest from the nutrition community

The response at AICNU 2026 has shaped the company’s immediate priorities. NutriClinics’ team is working through onboarding and demos with the nutritionists who registered interest, alongside publishing practitioner guides, platform policies, and a public dietitian directory to make it easier for patients to find the right expert.

“We built NutriClinics so that a nutritionist can run a complete practice from a single, secure platform, from booking and payments to video consultations and patient records. Health data is deeply personal, so security and privacy were designed in from day one, not added later. As more practitioners and patients join us, our focus is on scaling responsibly, and on bringing in technology like AI in a way that supports clinical judgement rather than replacing it. At NutriClinics, AI drafts and the practitioner decides.”

What comes next

NutriClinics has outlined a roadmap that includes a mobile app, a photo-based food journal, and integration with fitness trackers and continuous glucose monitors. The company is also developing AI-assisted diet planning, where every AI-generated suggestion will be reviewed and approved by a qualified nutritionist before it reaches a patient.

The company also plans to open partnerships with hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and referring doctors in 2027.
