MS, RDN, LDN — Registered Dietitian & Licensed Nutritionist

Deepthi Harkar believes that nutrition is not just a clinical discipline — it is one of the most powerful and underutilised levers in modern healthcare. As Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of NutriClinics, she brings over 10 years of deep clinical and scientific expertise in medical nutrition therapy, chronic disease prevention, and lifestyle medicine to ensure that every solution NutriClinics delivers is grounded in evidence, designed for real-world impact, and built to last.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Nutritionist based in the United States, Deepthi holds an MSc in Foods & Nutrition and a Master’s in Health Promotion, along with advanced certifications in preventive and plant-based nutrition. Her clinical practice spans diabetes prevention and reversal, bariatric nutrition, gut health, weight management, and culturally tailored, plant-forward eating — reflecting a holistic, person-centred approach that meets individuals where they are. She has also served as President of the Delaware Dietetic Association, bringing public health leadership and community-level impact to her professional footprint.

At NutriClinics, Deepthi leads the scientific and clinical vision of the platform — translating cutting-edge nutrition science into practical, scalable digital solutions that improve access, engagement, and long-term adherence. She oversees the design and evaluation of nutrition programmes at both individual and community levels, and plays a central role in capacity building among nutrition professionals and empowering patients through evidence-based guidance.

Driven by an innovation mindset and a strategic vision for the future of preventive care, Deepthi is committed to leveraging the intersection of healthcare, technology, and personalised nutrition to set a new standard for what science-backed, digitally enabled nutrition care can achieve globally.
